If you have received Sourcery G++ Lite on a CD, or other physical media, then
you do not need to download an installer. You may skip ahead to
<a class="xref" href="sec-installing.html" title="2.4. Installing Sourcery G++ Lite">Section 2.4, &#8220;Installing Sourcery G++ Lite&#8221;</a>.

You can download Sourcery G++ Lite from the <a class="ulink" href="http://www.codesourcery.com/gnu_toolchains/" target="_top">Sourcery G++ web site</a>.
This free version of Sourcery G++,
which is made available to the general public, does not
include all the functionality of CodeSourcery's product releases.
If you prefer, you may instead purchase or register for an evaluation of
CodeSourcery's product toolchains at the <a class="ulink" href="https://support.codesourcery.com/GNUToolchain/" target="_top">Sourcery G++ Portal</a>.

Once you have navigated to the appropriate web site, download the
installer that corresponds to your host operating system.

For Microsoft Windows systems, the Sourcery G++ installer is provided
as an executable with the <code class="filename">.exe</code> extension.

For GNU/Linux systems Sourcery G++ Lite is provided as an executable
installer package with the <code class="filename">.bin</code>
