| If you have already installed an earlier version of | |
| Sourcery G++ Lite for ARM GNU/Linux on your system, it is not necessary | |
| to uninstall it before using the installer to unpack a new version | |
| in the same location. The installer detects that it is performing an | |
| update in that case. | |

| If you are installing an update from a compressed archive, it is | |
| recommended that you remove any previous installation in the same | |
| location, or install in a different directory. | |

| Note that the names of the Sourcery G++ commands for the | |
| ARM GNU/Linux target all begin with <code class="command">arm-none-linux-gnueabi</code>. | |
| This means that you can install Sourcery G++ for multiple | |
| target systems in the same directory without conflicts. | |
