| General-purpose registers are represented by predefined symbols of the |
| form ‘<samp><span class="samp">r</span><var>N</var></samp>’, where <var>N</var> represents a number between |
| <code>0</code> and <code>63</code>. However, the following registers have |
| canonical names that must be used instead: |
